I just demonstrated on how to remove the door panel on my 2014 mazda 3 sport.
How to remove mazda 3 rear door panel.
Move the seat all the way back and tip the seat way back.
This is not that easy because the space is limited but just keep pulling and force the rear end of the door panel past the b pillar.
You may need to insert a flathead screwdriver or trim panel removal tool in between the door panel and metal frame to pry out the friction fasteners.
Lift the door panel straight up.
You will be breaking 2 plastic clips from the rear part but once you do it just pulls out.
From here it is pretty simple.
Continue pulling out the pop rivets all along the bottom edge and sides of the door panel.

Lift the door panel up as you remove it and then unclip the wiring from behind.
Starting at the bottom of the door panel gently but firmly pull the door trim from the bottom and pop it out of its clips working up.
